What's Included

A Weekly Farm Box

Members receive approximately 20–25 boxes throughout our December–May harvest season.

Farm-to-Door Delivery

Your weekly harvest is packed fresh and delivered directly from Fox Valleyaire Farm to your home within our delivery area. CSA boxes are intentionally curated around what is growing best that week and are generous, with enough variety and volume to provide a small family (approximately 3–4 people) with fresh produce throughout the week, depending on your household's fondness for vegetables.

Depending on the season, your harvest may include things like:

• Lettuce and salad greens

• Carrots and radishes

• Tomatoes and peppers

• Eggplant

• Fresh herbs

• Seasonal fruits

The size and variety of each box will naturally vary with the season, weather, and what is ready to harvest. While we cannot guarantee the same quantity each week, we always do our best to provide a full and abundant box using what is growing best on the farm.

Each week, we'll include a recipe or serving inspiration designed around the kinds of produce you'll find in your box, helping you make the most of your seasonal harvest.

Farm Access

CSA members are part of our farm community.

We welcome our members and their families to visit the farm, meet the farmers, see what's growing, and experience where their food comes from. Farm access is otherwise closed to the public.

Priority Access to Farm Specialties

CSA members receive priority access to limited-quantity, Fox Valleyaire farm products through our Hotplate store, including specialty items such as farm-fresh eggs, honey, and flowers.

Members also receive 10% off on additional farm purchases outside of their CSA membership.

Membership & Season

Harvest Season: Approximately December through May, 20–25 weekly deliveries per season

Membership renewals open each October and is capped and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are limited.

Because we personally deliver each week's harvest, membership is limited to homes within our delivery area.

If you are outside our normal delivery range but would still like to become a member, please contact the farm office. Depending on your location, we may be able to accommodate you with farm pickup.

If you have missed the October renewal period and would like to join for the upcoming season, please contact us to see whether memberships are still available.

A Few Things to Know Before Joining

Your membership (and box) is seasonal.
The contents of your box will change throughout the season based on what is growing and harvesting best. Farming is inherently seasonal, and weather and other natural conditions can affect what is available from week to week. By joining, you are sharing in both the abundance and the natural variability of a working farm. We will always do our best to provide a generous, diverse, and high-quality harvest, but the exact contents of your box will depend on what our fields provide.

There are no substitutions.
One of the best parts of a CSA is getting to eat with the seasons - the harvest is yours to discover! To keep the program fair and consistent for all, we do not offer individual produce swaps.

Each box is built around what is abundant, beautiful, and ready to harvest in our fields. That means you may receive something you didn't expect - and discover a new favorite along the way.

Please wash your produce at home.
Our produce is triple-washed after harvest, but all fresh produce should be washed again at home before eating or preparing.

What Happens If You’re Away?
If you know you'll be away for a week or more, please let us know in advance. While boxes cannot be rolled over to a future week, we'll do our best to work with you and determine the best option for your delivery when possible.

Please contact the farm office as early as possible so we have the greatest flexibility to help.

More than anything, CSA membership gives us the opportunity to build a direct relationship between the people growing your food and the people eating it.

CSA Agreement: By joining the Fox Valleyaire CSA, I understand that the contents of my share will vary from week to week based on seasonal availability and harvest conditions. Farming is inherently subject to weather, pests, disease, and other circumstances beyond the farmer's control. I understand that a CSA share represents a commitment to support the farm throughout the growing season and that my membership is non-refundable. Fox Valleyaire will make every reasonable effort to provide a diverse, high-quality share throughout the season, but specific crops, quantities, and varieties cannot be guaranteed.
